The Colorado Takota Clan (CTC's) was originally established in late 1997 as the Dragoon Clan (DC's) and in 2002 as The Nekusa Clan (TNC's). The Clan names have changed over the last couple years, but the drive to produce happy, healthy, and friendly gerbils remains.
The Colorado Takota Clan is owned by Jessica Dolce a proud member of the American Gerbil Society (AGS). My goal with breeding gerbils is to uphold the AGS standards and to produce happy, healthy, and exceptionally friendly gerbils in beautiful colors and spotting patterns. I am currently able to produce nearly all of the gerbil colors except the dilute (Blue) and fading (Schimmel) varieties.
Colors that I am able to produce include: White Bellied- Golden Agouti Argente Golden Topaz Dark Eyed Honey Yellow Fox Honey Cream Gray Agouti IvoryCream Polar Fox Red Eyed Polar Fox Colorpoint Agouti Colorpoint Dark Eyed Honey Colorpoint Gray Agouti Colorpoint Polar Fox Solid- Black Lilac Sapphire Nutmeg Red Fox Spiced Cream Slate Ruby Eyed White Silver Nutmeg Ruby Eyed Silver Nutmeg Burmese Colorpoint Slate Colorpoint Silver Nutmeg I am currently concentrating on producing all of these colors in spotted, pied, mottled, heavily mottled, and non spotted.
